BAILEY EDWARDS GT
The Bailey Edwards GT is a fully assembled, factory built, painted “turn key-minus": and is complete except that the customer selects his own motor and transaxle. When you look at the standard specs you will see that this is a serious car.

CHASSIS: Aluminum Clad, Powder Coated Space Frame Chassis and Components.
The chassis and suspension has a torsion stiffness of 11500Nm/deg.
SUSPENSION: The front suspension is a fully independent double wishbone type. The rear suspension is similar to original configuration that being inverted lower A arm with upper transverse link and upper and lower radius link. The suspension also has adjustable coil over shocks and an anti-roll bar front and rear. Front suspension mounting is fully adjustable Bilstein set up with Aurora Rod Ends throughout. Billet Aluminum front and rear uprights.
Built in anti dive and anti squat, near zero bump.
SPRINGS/DAMPER: adjustable Bilstein coil over dampers with adjustable damping rate and variable spring height.
BRAKES: 4 pot, A P Racing Calipers with 305mm vented discs.
BODY: The original style body is comprised of eight molded, high strength, hand laid composite fiberglass panels with BUILT IN ROLL CAGE (and as option from below, removable overhead side sections from the top of the a-pillar to the back of the cockpit for everyday driver use).

COOLING: High efficiency, six-core front mounted aluminum radiator with twin auxiliary electric fans. Thermostatically controlled with manual override..
INTERIOR: Seats, Instrument Panel, tunnel, inside of doors and roof are leather. Carpet is automotive quality. Driver seat is Adjustable fore/aft, with brass or aluminum grommets, adjustable, 13-inch, 3 spoke Fully Adjustable steering wheel as well as original floor mounted Adjustable Tilton Floor Pedals with bias brake system..
ELECTRICAL: Smiths VDO Instruments (Original style) and switches. All circuits fused and relayed. Cibie headlamps, all other lights original pattern. Rear mounted battery box with master isolator switch.
EXHAUST: Stainless Steel/Ceramic Coated original pattern “Bundle of Snakes” headers with stainless steel muffler and heat shield.

PAINT: In roller form the body is painted to your choice of color, while in Kit form the body is Gel coat.
